Our approach

ChitoFun Biotech technology is a unique fermentation-based bioprocess producing fungal biomass rich in natural chitosan and other valuable components, chitin-chitosan-glucan complexes and natural chitosan of high purity and deacetylation.

Our Technology

Chitofun technology is based on flexible fermentation process utilising filamentous fungi and synthetic, sugar and nitrogen rich substrates or renewable substrates based on rest or waste materials. Production process is controlled by the advanced vibrational spectroscopy techniques, allowing precise process control and ensuring high quality products.
